A Brief History of Ameerah
We have been designing clothing for over 20 years and started out working with Marks & Spencer. Our designs were for ladies looking for high quality garments that provided timeless chic and style. Accomplishing this we soon extended our client base and began to collaborate with high end fashion chains such as Zara and TopShop. We continue to work closely with each of our high street customers.
Having very close links to the spa industry, both in the UK and abroad, we were approached to design a range of beauty therapy uniforms. The brief was practical and affordable and inspired by the high street. Not a very tall order for us - we have now been supplying to the health and beauty industry of over 3 years and in the last year have supplied to The Mandarin Oriental, Hilton Hotels, The Ritz London, The On Board Spa Company in collaboration with P&O Cruises and other prestigious hotel spas.
Our list of day spa customers includes Obsessions Salons and Spas, Chessgrove Day Spa, The Vineyard at Stockcross, Bovey Castle and more recently the leading skincare clinic chain, Destination Skin.
Almost 2 years ago, a private UK hospital came to us with the same brief! They also said "our staff dislike the current uniform... they don't enjoy wearing it... we need to look more professional and stylish at the same time".
We met with the customer including their nursing staff, discussed their needs, created a design and samples and two months later they were wearing their new uniform.
