About Us

Ameerah Clothing was launched in 2007 to bring a fresh and innovative range of beauty therapy uniforms to the market. A family business with two sisters at the helm, Ameerah prides itself on the great level of customer service offered and the close relationships built with each and every customer.  The quality of our uniforms is something we are very passionate about so we pay great attention to the design, the fabric quality and the fine details that set our  uniforms apart from the rest.

Kalsum, our design director has been designing clothing for over 20 years.  After graduating from Derby’s prestigious School of Art and Design, Kalsum started designing for Marks & Spencer.  Her designs were for ladies looking for high quality garments that provided timeless chic and style.  Accomplishing this Kalsum soon extended her client base and began to collaborate with high end fashion chains such as Zara and TopShop. She continues to work closely with each of her high street customers.

Our managing director, Sughra, has very close links to the spa industry both in the UK and abroad.  After graduating from the University of Derby in Business and Finance, Sughra went on to fulfill a passion she’d had since her teens and qualified as a beauty and holistic therapist. Having successfully established her own salon business in the UK, she ventured abroad and has been involved in prestigious spa openings, spa design and development.  She continues to work within the industry and several years ago launched a sister company, Ameerah Consulting, offering business and training solutions to salons and spas.

The sisters have formed a great partnership and their combined knowledge and experience has delivered uniforms that continue to impress our customers time and again.  Many of our customers know us by name and have met us in person and this is something that we hope will never change.

We have formed a long term partnership with another family business in Leicester and also have offshore operations in Arcadia approved facilities in Lithuania, Morocco and Dubai.

Over the last four years we have supplied uniforms to The Mandarin Oriental, Hilton Hotels, The Ritz London, The On Board Spa Company in collaboration with P&O Cruises and other prestigious hotel spas.  Our list of day spa customers includes Obsessions Salons and Spas, Chessgrove Day Spa, The Vineyard at Stockcross, Bovey Castle and Tre-Ysgawen Country House Hotel and Spa.

We have also found that many private hospitals are looking for stylish uniforms, often a unisex style that flatters both the male and female figure. In 2009 we launched our range of nursing uniforms and scrub sets and now supply to not only private hospitals but residential homes and NHS hospitals.
